What you pay for, how the trial works, and what happens when a subscription stops.
You pay per server, per month. The app and the agent come with it, on every device you use.
The trial
Fourteen days, no card. You install the app, connect a server, and use everything. When the trial ends nothing is deleted: the server keeps running, and you subscribe when you want the app back.
Yearly
Two months are free on the yearly plan. The switch happens in the console; the app follows on its next check-in.
What counts as a server
A machine enrolled with the platform. Removing a server from the console stops it counting at the end of the period. A machine you never enrol — an app running without an account — does not count at all.
Payments
Checkout and the customer portal are handled by Stripe as merchant of record. The site does not sell: the order button opens the console, and no card ever touches pupitre.studio.
When it stops
The server keeps working as an ordinary server. Projects, databases, services and tunnels stay in place, and you connect over SSH as before. The agent falls back to a restricted mode after seven days without a licence — it stops accepting new installs, and it breaks nothing that already runs.
Subscribe again and the app picks up where it left off.
