OpenCode
The open-source agent, its binary checked against the digest GitHub publishes, tied to no provider: a Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot subscription, or any key.

- AI agents
What it installs
- OpenCode as the static binary of its GitHub release, for this architecture — the baseline build on an x64 machine without AVX2 — refused unless its SHA-256 is the one GitHub publishes for the asset, then placed in ~/.local/bin.
- The machine context in ~/.config/opencode/AGENTS.md and the Pupitre skills in ~/.config/opencode/skills and ~/.agents/skills.
What it asks you for
Nothing. It installs as it is.
Good to know
OpenCode is open source and tied to no provider: it starts on the free models it ships with, and opencode auth login connects the account you already pay for — Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot — or the key of any of the providers it knows. The dashboard names the providers it holds a credential for. Uninstalling takes back the binary and the context this module wrote; ~/.local/share/opencode, with your credentials and sessions, stays.
