What it installs
- The Supabase CLI as the Go binary of its GitHub release, for this architecture, refused unless its checksum is the one the release publishes, then placed under /usr/local/bin.
- The access token you gave, in the server’s environment file and in the dev shell as SUPABASE_ACCESS_TOKEN.
What it asks you for
- Nothing, once your Supabase account is connected in the app. The dashboard names the organisations the token opens.
Good to know
supabase link, db push and functions deploy work from the server as they do from your laptop; the local stack (supabase start) needs Docker, which is its own module. Uninstalling takes back the CLI and the token, never a project.
