- The Vercel CLI through mise, on the Node runtime, on the path of every shell.
- The token you gave, in the server’s environment file and in the dev shell as VERCEL_TOKEN, so vercel deploy, vercel env and vercel logs answer from a terminal without a sign-in.
What it asks you for
- Nothing, once your Vercel account is connected in the app. The token is given once, and the dashboard names the account it opens.
Good to know
Uninstalling takes back the CLI and the token it stored, and never touches a project or a deployment.
